District Nurses Offer Advice for Cold and Flu Season
The Season for Sharing…..
The holiday season is here! One thing you don’t want to share with your family and friends ….germs.
Here are some simple steps to help keep your holidays germ free:
-Cover your cough by coughing in to your arm at the elbow crease, turning away from others.
-Wash your hands. Hand sanitizer is great but nothing beats scrubbing with soap and water.
-Stay home. When you are feeling ill, stay home and rest. Don’t take the chance of spreading an illness to others.
A reminder on Robinson school illness policies:
Students are required to be free of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. This means they have NOT had these symptoms for 24 hours before they come back to class. This helps in keeping exposure limited for the other students and staff.
Thank you for abiding by these policies. Our goal is to keep the students in school, safe, and healthy!
