WHEREAS, Robinson CUSD#2 of Robinson, lilinais has determined that it is in its best interest to continually update its fleet of conventional full-sized buses and

WHEREAS, Robinson CUSD#2 transportation staff and administration have determined that the district’s current needs can be served by the purchase of (2) full sized preowned conventional buses, and

WHEREAS, the purchase of newer vehicles will result in decreased maintenance costs, decreased fuel costs, and increased safety for students and staff and

WHEREAS, Robinson CUSD#2 has sufficient funds available in its transportation fund to purchase (2) preowned 2021 model year conventional full-sized passenger buses for delivery in FY22,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Robinson CUSD#2 Board of Education, that the Superintendent of Robinson CUSD#2 shall be authorized to purchase (2) preowned full-sized passenger buses of model year 2021, consistent with the specifications of our fleet, at a cost not to exceed $82,475 each for delivery in FY22.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Education of Robinson CUSD#2, Robinson, Illinois on this date, March 15, 2021, at a regular meeting by the following vote.
