The following action was taken at Monday night’s school board meeting:

• Formal approval of the Leo V. Meadows Scholarship recipients, Emma Chan and Josiah Hatfield, per scholarship guidelines
• Consideration and approval of 3 students and 2 staff members to attend the National Beta Club Convention in Nashville, TN June 17-18, 2026
• Consideration and approval to adopt updated board policies included in PRESS Issue 121
• Consideration and approval of NMS student handbook for 26-27 school year
• Consideration and approval of a resolution to declare vehicles as surplus
• Consideration and approval of roof replacement on the ’99 wing of RHS using the TIPS program
• Consideration and approval of an estimate for installing phones in classrooms at WES (existing and new addition)
• Consideration and approval of a Health/Life Safety Emergency Board Resolution for the repair of the fire alarm system at NMS
• Discussion regarding the tentative FY26 Amended Budget
